thru 8/23: free shakespeare in the park: the winter’s tale: the public theater’s free shakespeare in the park season continues at central park’s delacorte theater with a production of the winter’s tale directed by daniel sullivan and starring raúl esparza, lily rabe, steven skybell, chuck cooper, and more. plus: a summer friday open house on 8/21 will feature self-guided tours, onstage photo ops, family-friendly activities, live music, giveaways, and special guests. there are five ways to get free tickets: in-person at the theater in the park, at an in-person lottery at the public theater in noho, in-person at select distribution points in the five boroughs on specific dates, in-person standby line at the theater in the park, and via a digital lottery on the todaytix app.
