thurs thru 11/22 (opening reception 9/24 6-10pm; regular hours are fri-sun 12-6pm): 260 madison art exhibition: more than 50 artists take over a former duane reade and a 23,000-square-foot office floor in this temporary, artist-run exhibition inside a midtown office tower undergoing a major renovation. works spanning sculpture, new media, and video explore themes including surveillance, artificial intelligence, extraction, and the systems that shape how we work and live. 260 madison ave at e 39th st, free admission.
