Terms of Service

1. The Service

Juicy is an artist-curated platform for discovering connection-worthy places and experiences in New York City. The Service includes:

• A curated directory of NYC places with editorial ratings
• Personal wishlists and shareable public profiles
• All-Knowing Orange, an AI concierge for venue recommendations
• Event listings, RSVPs, and ticket purchases
• Subscription tiers with premium features
• Limited-release products (Juicy Drops)

2. Account Registration

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• One account per person
• Notify us immediately at hello@juicy-nyc.com if you suspect unauthorized access

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free tier: browse places, save to wishlists, share profiles, 5 All-Knowing Orange chats per month
• Juicy Member: $9.99/month — unlimited chats, 12-hour priority RSVP
• Juicy Insider: $19.99/month — unlimited chats, 24-hour priority RSVP, and additional benefits
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew. On iOS, billing is processed by Apple (In-App Purchase); on Android, by Google Play; on the web, by Stripe
• Cancel anytime — on iOS through your Apple ID subscription settings, on Android through your Google Play subscriptions, or on the web via profile settings; access continues through the end of the billing period
• No refunds for partial months
• Juicy Drops: refunds handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us within 48 hours
• Event cancellations by us: full refund within 5–10 business days
• In-app purchases may be subject to Apple or Google platform terms

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post false or defamatory content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use All-Knowing Orange to generate harmful or offensive content

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you create (bios, profile information)
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your content in connection with the Service
• All curated place descriptions, JuicyMeter ratings, editorial content, and branding are owned by The Juicy Times
• We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice

6. All-Knowing Orange AI Concierge

• All-Knowing Orange provides AI-generated venue recommendations — these are suggestions, not guarantees
• Information may occasionally be inaccurate or outdated
• Always verify venue details (hours, availability, pricing) before visiting
• Chat limits are based on your subscription tier and reset monthly

7. Events and RSVPs

• We curate event listings but do not operate all events
• RSVP does not guarantee entry (capacity limits may apply)
• Paid subscribers receive priority RSVP access
• Respectful conduct is required at all events; we may remove attendees who violate community standards

8. Intellectual Property

The Juicy name, logo, JuicyMeter, All-Knowing Orange, "Squeeze the Day," and all related branding are trademarks of The Juicy Times. All rights reserved.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party venues and websites. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of these external sites.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that venue information will be accurate, that AI recommendations will meet your expectations, or that events will proceed as described.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Juicy Times shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Juicy Times, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via profile settings (this action is permanent)
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms without refund for cause

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in New York County.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Juicy Times regarding your use of the Service.
